County of Bucks Announces Fall Workshops for Businesses
The Bucks County Department of Community & Business Development has planned two upcoming workshops to help businesses sell their products and services to the government.
On Wednesday, September 15, from 8:30 a.m. to noon, the County will present “Doing Business with the Federal Government and the County Government” at the Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce (LBCCC, 409 Hood Blvd., Fairless Hills, PA 19030). Scheduled members of the panel will include:
- Maureen Wilson McIlvaine, CPPO, CPPB, director of the Bucks County Purchasing Department;
- Paula K. Watts, a recognized expert on the procurement and management of federal contracts who managed over $20 million of contracts with her previous company;
- Faye M. Fitz, government marketing specialist in the Procurement Technical Assistance Program with the Temple University Small Business Development Center
The following Thursday, September 23, the County will present “Doing Business with the State Government and the County Government,” from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce (CBCC, 252 W. Swamp Rd., Bailiwick Office Campus Suite 23, Doylestown, PA 18901). Ms. McIlvaine and Ms. Fitz will be joined by Harold Levy, of the Pennsylvania Department of General Services.
There is no charge to attend either workshop, but pre-registration is requested. The workshops are sponsored by Fulton Bank.
