Bucks County to Conduct Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting for Construction of Judicial Center
Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010, 2 p.m., 99 Shewell Ave., Doylestown Borough

Featuring 285,000 square feet and a state-of-the-art design to serve 626,000 residents, the new Bucks County Judicial Center will be the largest capital project in county annals.

At 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 6, 2010, the Bucks County Purchasing department will conduct a mandatory pre-bid meeting for those interested in bidding on construction elements of the new Bucks County Judicial Center. These contracts will include general construction; fire protection; plumbing; HVAC; electrical work including telecommunications, data, video, fire alarm and security; and elevators.

Due to anticipated interest, this meeting will be held in the gymnasium of the former Doylestown Borough Armory, which is located at 99 Shewell Avenue.

Beginning Tuesday, September 28, interested businesses may obtain full information and detailed specifications on the Current Bid Information page, or from the Purchasing department on the third floor of the Bucks County Courthouse. The fee for the non-refundable bid package is $5 per CD, or $10 with postage to mail. Please make checks payable to the County of Bucks.
