Bucks County Children and Youth Receives 174 New Winter Coats for Local Children and Families

Bucks County Children and Youth participate in the Annual Coat Drive, with help from Keystone Volvo and The Thompson Organization.

The children and families served by the Bucks County’s Children and Youth Social Services Agency (BCCYSSA), including those in foster care, will now be protected from the winter weather thanks in part to generous donations from two local area car dealerships.

The Thomas organization donates jackets to Children and YouthThe agency accepted two individual donations of new winter coats from Keystone Volvo and The Thompson Organization, both participants in the “Driving Away the Cold” campaign.  Representatives from both dealerships delivered coats in various sizes and colors to the BCCYSSA office in Doylestown bringing the total donation to 174, including 66 from Keystone Volvo and 108 from The Thompson Organization, respectively.

Organized by the Auto Dealers CARing for Kids Foundation and Automobile Dealers Association of Greater Philadelphia,  participating dealerships in the “Driving Away the Cold” campaign pledge to donate a brand new winter coat to a child in need for each vehicle sold during the month of September.
