Bucks County Recorder of Deeds Office Holds Veterans ID Event at Local Eatery

The Bucks County Recorder of Deeds staff will hold A Veterans ID card event on Friday, June 19, 2015, at the Old Country Buffet in Fairless Hills. Veterans will have the opportunity to receive a free ID card as well as learn more information about how these organizations can offer assistance when and where needed.

Interested veterans must bring their original DD-214 form in order for the Recorder of Deeds staff to proceed with issuing the cards. Information about the program is available by calling 215-348-6209. 

To date, just shy of 1,300 Bucks County businesses have agreed to offer substantial veterans discounts (5-20 percent on merchandise and services) to those holding the Bucks County Veterans ID card, and more are signing up to participate each day. To register a business to participate in the Veterans ID Discount Card Program, please call the county Recorder of Deeds office at 215-348-6209 or visit www.BucksCounty.org to fill out a form stating intent to take part. A list of participating businesses is available on the official county website as well.
