Bucks County Recorder of Deeds Veterans ID Discount Card Events Scheduled for April 25 and April 29

The Bucks County Recorder of Deeds staff will make two more stops on its 2017 Veterans ID Discount Card road tour on Tuesday, April 25, in Langhorne and Saturday, April 29, in Doylestown. The April 25 event will take place from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. at Miller’s Ale House, 2250 Old Lincoln Highway, Langhorne, 19047. The April 29 event will take place from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at the American Legion Post, 315 North St., Doylestown, PA 18901.

Those in attendance also can receive details about the upcoming Bucks County Tour of Honor trips to Washington, D.C. (www.BucksCountyTourofHonor.org). The events are scheduled as follows:

Interested veterans must bring their original DD-214 form in order for the Recorder of Deeds staff to proceed with issuing the cards. Information about the program is available by calling 215-348-6209. 

Approximately 1,400 Bucks County businesses now offer considerable discounts (5-20 percent on merchandise and services) to more than 14,000 eligible veterans who hold the Bucks County Veterans ID card. A list of participating businesses is available on the official County website. To register a business to participate in the Veterans ID Discount Card Program, please call the county Recorder of Deeds office at 215-348-6209 or visit www.BucksCounty.org to fill out a form stating intent to take part.
