Bucks County Recorder of Deeds to Conduct Three Veterans ID Discount Card Events Between June 3 and June 10

The Bucks County Recorder of Deeds will participate in three upcoming events, to take place on Saturday, June, 3, Wednesday, June 7 and Saturday, June 10. Staff will be on hand to issue Veteran’s ID Discount Cards at each location – including Penndel Community Day at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Buffalo Wild Wings in Levittown and at the Dv3 Flag Memorial in Fairless Hills.

Those in attendance also can receive details about upcoming Bucks County Tour of Honor trips to Washington, D.C. (www.BucksCountyTourofHonor.org).  The event information for the three scheduled dates is as follows:

Interested veterans must bring their original DD-214 form in order for the Recorder of Deeds staff to proceed with issuing the cards. Information about the program is available by calling 215-348-6209.  To date, approximately 1,400 Bucks County businesses offer considerable discounts (5-20 percent on merchandise and services) to more than 14,000 eligible veterans who hold the Bucks County Veterans ID card. A list of participating businesses is available on the official County website. To register a business to participate in the Veterans ID Discount Card Program, please call the county Recorder of Deeds office at 215-348-6209 or visit www.BucksCounty.org to fill out a form stating intent to take part.
