Bucks County Recorder of Deeds to Host Veterans ID Discount Card Event June 17 At Quakertown Farmers Market

The Bucks County Recorder of Deeds will participate in a Veterans ID Discount Card event from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday, June 17, at the Quakertown Farmers Market, 201 Station Rd., Quakertown, PA 18951. Staff will be on hand to issue Veteran’s ID Discount Cards at the Q Mart.

Those in attendance also can receive details about the upcoming Bucks County Tour of Honor trip to Washington, D.C. (www.BucksCountyTourofHonor.org).  The event information for the scheduled date is as follows:

Interested veterans must bring their original DD-214 form in order for the Recorder of Deeds staff to proceed with issuing the cards. Information about the program is available by calling 215-348-6209.  To date, approximately 1,400 Bucks County businesses offer considerable discounts (5-20 percent on merchandise and services) to more than 14,000 eligible veterans who hold the Bucks County Veterans ID card. A list of participating businesses is available on the official County website. To register a business to participate in the Veterans ID Discount Card Program, please call the county Recorder of Deeds office at 215-348-6209 or visit www.BucksCounty.org to fill out a form stating intent to take part.
