Bucks County Recorder of Deeds to Participate in Veterans ID Discount Card Event Saturday, Sept. 16 in Yardley

On Saturday, September 16, 2017, the Bucks County Recorder of Deeds office will participate in a Veterans ID Discount Card event from noon-4 p.m. The event will be held at the VFW Yardley Post, 1444 Yardley-Newtown Rd., Yardley, PA 19067. Staff will be on hand to issue Veteran’s ID Discount Cards.

Those in attendance also can receive details about the upcoming Bucks County Tour of Honor trip to Washington, D.C. (www.BucksCountyTourofHonor.org). The event information for the scheduled date is as follows:

Interested veterans must bring their original DD-214 form in order for the Recorder of Deeds staff to proceed with issuing the cards. Information about the program is available by calling 215-348-6209.  To date, approximately 1,400 Bucks County businesses offer considerable discounts (5-20 percent on merchandise and services) to more than 14,000 eligible veterans who hold the Bucks County Veterans ID card. A list of participating businesses is available on the official County website. To register a business to participate in the Veterans ID Discount Card Program, please call the county Recorder of Deeds office at 215-348-6209 or visit www.BucksCounty.org to fill out a form stating intent to take part.
