Bucks County Recorder of Deeds to Participate in Veterans Resource Day November 9 in Falls Township

On Thursday, November 9, 2017, the Bucks County Recorder of Deeds office will participate in a Veterans Resource Day at the Falls Township Senior Center, 282 Trenton Rd, Fairless Hills. Staff will be on hand to issue Veteran’s ID Discount Cards from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Those in attendance also can receive details about the Bucks County Tour of Honor and future Washington D.C. trips for Veterans of WWII, Korea and Vietnam (www.BucksCountyTourofHonor.org).

Interested veterans must bring their original DD-214 form in order for the Recorder of Deeds staff to proceed with issuing the cards. Information about the program is available by calling 215-348-6209. 

To date, approximately 1,400 Bucks County businesses offer considerable discounts (5-20 percent on merchandise and services) to more than 14,000 eligible veterans who hold the Bucks County Veterans ID card. A list of participating businesses is available on the official County website. To register a business to participate in the Veterans ID Discount Card Program, please call the county Recorder of Deeds office at 215-348-6209 or visit www.BucksCounty.org to fill out a form stating intent to take part.
