Clerk of Courts Launches Online Access for Ordering Public Case Records

Members of the public are now able to use their own computers to access and order Bucks County criminal and summary appeal court documents through a new, paid online service offered by Bucks County Clerk of Courts Mary K. Smithson.

Beginning today, users can click on this link to access public documents filed on or after Jan. 1, 2014: https://propublic.buckscountyonline.org/coc/auth/login

In order to request documents, a user must first create an account. A link for doing so is provided on the login screen.

Information can be searched via docket numbers obtained through the statewide UJS portal at http://ujsportal.pacourts.us or by entering the name of the defendant. The list of documents will include a docket entry title and the approximate date the document was filed.

Users will not be able to view the full-text documents until their request is reviewed and approved by a staff member. Certified copies of records may be requested by contacting the Clerk of Courts Office at 215-348-6389 or at cocassociates@buckscounty.org.

This initiative has been made possible through a partnership with Paperless Solutions Inc., a Bensalem-based company, and is part of a continual process to optimize technology to serve the community more efficiently.
