County Recorder of Deeds Office to Offer Veterans ID Discount Cards at Rep. Quinn and Farry Senior Expos, Oct. 7 & 14

The Bucks County Recorder of Deeds staff will visit two more locations on Friday, October 7 and Friday, October 14. The first event will be Pennsylvania Rep. Marguerite Quinn’s Senior Expo at the Central Bucks Senior Center, 700 N. Shady Retreat Dr., in Doylestown from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. On Friday, October 14, the staff will visit Rep. Frank Farry’s Senior Expo at the Neshaminy Activity Center, 1842 Brownsville Rd., Trevose, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. At both events, veterans will have the opportunity to receive a free ID card as well as learn more information about organizations that can provide assistance.

Interested veterans must bring their original DD-214 form in order for the Recorder of Deeds staff to proceed with issuing the cards. Information about the program is available by calling 215-348-6209.  Approximately 1,400 Bucks County businesses now offer considerable discounts (5-20 percent on merchandise and services) to more than 14,000 eligible veterans who hold the Bucks County Veterans ID card. A list of participating businesses is available on the official County website. To register a business to participate in the Veterans ID Discount Card Program, please call the county Recorder of Deeds office at 215-348-6209 or visit www.BucksCounty.org to fill out a form stating intent to take part.
